Terms of Service

LocalRepute is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product that uses artificial intelligence to generate suggested replies to online customer reviews. It includes a web dashboard, a review-reply generator, a QR review-collection tool, and a browser extension. The Service provides suggestions; you are responsible for reviewing and posting them.

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which means Paddle is the seller of record and handles checkout, taxes, and refunds. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with reasonable notice. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

We may offer free replies or trials. We may limit, throttle, or suspend free usage to prevent abuse and control cost (including daily free-generation limits). We may refuse service where we detect abuse, fraud, or automated misuse.

Replies are generated by AI and may be imperfect. You agree to review every suggestion for accuracy, appropriateness, and truthfulness before posting, and you are solely responsible for the replies you publish. You agree not to use the Service to generate unlawful, defamatory, harassing, misleading, or harmful content.

You retain ownership of the reviews and content you submit and the replies you choose to post. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service.

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to access it by automated means except through our published interfaces, reverse engineer it, infringe intellectual property rights, or use it in violation of any applicable law or third-party platform terms (including Google's review policies).

The Service, its branding, and underlying software are owned by LocalRepute and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

The Service integrates with third parties (e.g., OpenAI for AI generation, Paddle for payments, Resend for email). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that AI-generated replies will be accurate, appropriate, or produce any particular business result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalRepute will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may cancel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., limitation of liability) survive termination.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
